Crowns, bridges & fillings
Restore strength, comfort and a natural-looking smile. Whether it's a small cavity, a cracked tooth or a gap, we repair it with tooth-coloured materials that blend right in.

What we offer
- Tooth-coloured fillings: composite fillings that repair cavities and match your natural teeth.
- Crowns: a custom cap that protects a cracked, worn or weakened tooth.
- Bridges: a fixed replacement for one or more missing teeth, anchored to the teeth either side.
- Crowns after root canals: to restore full strength to a treated tooth.
- Replacing old fillings: swapping worn or cracked metal fillings for natural-looking ones.
- Comfort options: gentle numbing as standard, with sedation available for nervous patients.
Your treatment, step by step
- Exam and X-rays: we check the tooth or gap and explain every option, including costs, before you decide.
- Numbing: we make sure the area is completely comfortable before we begin.
- Repair or preparation: for a filling, decay is removed and the tooth is filled in the same visit. For a crown or bridge, the tooth is gently shaped and we take a scan or impression.
- Temporary, if needed: you wear a temporary crown or bridge while your permanent one is made.
- Final fitting: we check the fit, bite and colour, then fix your crown or bridge in place.
Why it matters
- Stop small problems growing: treating a cavity early helps you avoid a root canal or extraction later.
- Protect what you have: a crown can save a cracked tooth from breaking further.
- Fill the gaps: a bridge stops nearby teeth from shifting and keeps your bite even.
- Eat and smile with confidence: restorations look and feel like natural teeth.
Cost & coverage
Most plans cover part of the cost of fillings, crowns and bridges. For larger treatments, we can send a pre-estimate to your insurer so you know your share before we start, and you'll always get a written estimate.
FAQ
Do fillings hurt? With local anaesthetic, most patients feel only pressure. Mild sensitivity for a few days afterwards is normal.
How do I know if I need a crown or a filling? Fillings repair smaller areas of damage. A crown is usually recommended when a tooth is cracked, heavily filled or weakened. We'll explain which suits your tooth.
How long do crowns and bridges last? With good care and regular check-ups, many years.
Will it look natural? Yes. We match the shade and shape to your surrounding teeth.
Can you replace my old silver fillings? Yes, if they're worn or failing, or if you'd simply prefer a more natural look.
What are my options for a missing tooth? A bridge, a partial denture or an implant may be suitable.
